OVERVIEW
Wreckless Wren Magazine is an OKC art publication that explores gender and sexuality. It aims to be a constant and a comfort to the LGBTQ+ community and a means of connection and solidarity.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The opportunity was to create a magazine about a subject that I am passionate about. Design a masthead, mast, table of contents, re-occurring articles unique to the magazine, and three visually distinct feature spreads.
THE SOLUTION
As a queer, non-binary, artist and designer, I chose to make my magazine explore the topic of Gender and Sexuality via different art mediums. Wreckless Wren highlights the work of queer artists and provides connection for the readers, reminding them that they are not alone in the way they feel and helping readers process through complex feelings regarding identity.
